As I carry forward my legislative work to make Ohio more business-friendly and my campaign activities to become State Treasurer of Ohio, I hope that you will take a moment to help me by making an end-of-year contribution to my campaign.
 
Ohio law allows you a dollar-for-dollar tax credit of up to $50 per individual and $100 per couple for making a contribution to a candidate for state office.  In other words, your contribution of $50 or $100 will not cost you anything!  

Be sure to make your contribution to my campaign by 11:59 p.m. tomorrow night in order to take advantage of this tax credit on your 2009 Ohio tax filing.

With 2009 coming to a close, I’m proud to report to you that I’ve traveled 63,194 miles and visited 71 of the 88 counties listening to citizens' concerns.  This past year I have been working tirelessly in an effort to advocate for policies to control government spending and promote a business-friendly climate that will help create jobs throughout our state.

I am sincerely thankful for and encouraged by the outpouring of support — financial and otherwise — from thousands of Ohioans all across the state who are taking the initiative to join in my efforts.  Thank you again for your support and I look forward to our work together in 2010!
